Only a 40 minute ride on public transport from Bueno Days AirBnB is the beautiful Eunpyeong Hanok Village. A neighbourhood made up of traditional Korean buildings, the architecture is charming and elegant, and a stroll around the neighbourhood is such a joy. For those interested in the history of hanok houses, the Eunpyeong History Hanok Museum is a must-visit! For an entrance fee of 1000 Won you can find out more about the history of Eunpyeong-gu and the Hanok Village. The observatory in the museum also offers an amazing view over the hanok village, with mountains in the background.
A nearby café, Irin Iljan[1인1잔], offers similar views over 5 floors, where you can enjoy coffee and cake, Korean rice cakes, or even a full meal. Although I visited on a gloomy day, the views were still spectacular! The clouds moving across the lush mountains in the background, while the hanok village was peaceful and the coffee and rice cakes delicious is a precious memory for me! This is a great place to visit for a relaxing day, and you can take lovely pictures there! Because there aren’t many activities for young kids, I think it is not the best place for families, but it is perfect for friends or couples to visit together!
From Bueno Day AirBnB, you can take the subway line 3 to Gubapal station, and then switch to the bus line 7211 to go to Hana High School station, which is right by Eunpyeong Hanok Village.
I hope you enjoy your visit! 😊
